According to reports, Chelsea and Liverpool have reportedly identified Hoffenheim starlet Nick Breitenbucher as a possible transfer target ahead of the 2020/21 season.
While both Premier League giants are looking to strengthen their senior squads ahead of next campaign, focus is also being placed on signing talented prospects for the future.
According to Spox, Chelsea and Liverpool have been left impressed by the potential of the 17-year-old winger.
Breitenbucher, dubbed as ‘the next Arjen Robben’, has managed found back of the net 13 goals provided three assists from 16 games at youth level this campaign.
The report claims, however, that Schalke 04 are currently regarded as the frontrunners to secure the services of the Germany U-16 international, days after revealing a change of club strategy.
Breitenbucher has two years left on his current deal at Hoffenheim and could be a perfect addition to both Chelsea and Liverpool youth setup.
