Confirmed: Chelsea superstar to stay at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea fans have another reason to smile now. From the current situation, it is looking like that N’Golo Kante is going at Stamford Bridge this season. All the reports that were coming out of the Italian media indicated otherwise in the last few days. But all of that has been binned for now.

N’Golo Kante was linked with Inter Milan a few days back. Chelsea had to earn some of the money back after they spent lavishly in the transfer market. So rumors came in numbers and it went out of control.

Finally, Inter Milan director, Piero Ausilio, had to take a stance in front of the media. He practically denies the possibility of the Kante’s transfer. Piero also binned the transfer news regarding Lionel Messi or Federico Chiesa.

“Inter absolutely cannot afford moves like [Messi or Chiesa], as the economic parameters are beyond our reach. [We must] be realistic about the possibilities that our transfer strategy allows us. It’s important to be honest with the fans, too. Kanté is also an impossible move for Inter,” Inter Milan director mentioned to the press.

However, Kante moved to Chelsea in 2016 after a memorable league-winning season with Leicester City. He played a pivotal role in the Foxes that season. N’Golo repeated the same with the London Blues.

He won the league and controlled the midfield under the management of Antonio Conte. So it was easy to connect the dots and made the links with Inter Milan which is currently managed by Conte.

The versatility of Kante is the main asset for Chelsea at this moment. After the arrival of Jorginho along with Sarri, he had to sacrifice his position and moved to a more attacking role. He also excelled at that role under the management of Sarri and Lampard. So it was illogical to let him go when Chelsea have such a young side at the moment.
