Report: Chelsea fans excited with latest £150m decision
Former Chelsea transfer target Harry Kane was linked with a £150m to Manchester City this summer.
The 28-year-old had missed Tottenham’s pre-season and opening game of the season as he tried to force a move away to Manchester City. However, the deal has now failed to materialise, as Kane has announced he’s staying for the rest of the season with Tottenham.
In a post on Twitter, Kane said: “It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks.
“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100 per cent focused on helping the team achieve success.”

Chelsea fans are pleased with this announcement, as it means City’s strength won’t be boosted for this season, having already signed Jack Grealish for £100m.
