According to Daily Express, Chelsea are preparing to submit a bid for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
The 23 year old is currently on loan at Sheffield United and has rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League after brilliant performances for Sheffield United including the 3-0 victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
Henderson’s long-term future at Manchester United remains unclear, given David De Gea signed a new long-term contract in September and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insisting the Spaniard remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world despite an inconsistent season.
It is believed Henderson will be unwilling to be second choice goalkeeper at Manchester United next season when his Sheffield United loan deal expires and Chelsea are ready to capitalise by submitting a bid for the goalkeeper, either a loan deal or permanent deal.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is believed to have lost patience with current first-choice stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga and views Henderson as the perfect replacement.
Meanwhile, reports claim Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakır.
