Chelsea have a real goalkeeper problem on their hands, and it is something that Frank Lampard will be addressing as soon as the FA Cup Final is over this weekend.
However, Frank Lampard has clearly become unhappy with current Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, having dropped him for the final league game of the season on Sunday.
There are a host of names mentioned as potential replacements, but it is unclear whether Chelsea are going to try and sell Kepa, loan him, or even keep him and just bring in some more quality competition.
However, it looks highly likely that Chelsea will be signing a new goalkeeper this summer.
There has been whispers of world class keeper Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid being a potential target, despite his high release clause.
Self-proclaimed ‘transfer expert’ Nicolo Schira claims that Chelsea have opened talks with Oblak’s agent over a potential move.
#Chelsea could buy a new goalkeeper this summer. #Blues are not satisfied of #Kepa, who could leave and come-back in Spain. The first choice of #Lampard is Jan #Oblak. Talks opened with agent of #AtleticoMadrid’s GK. The #transfer is not simple, but M.Granovskaia in action. #CFC
