Report: Man City set to replace David Silva with Chelsea transfer target

The Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly looking to replace midfielder David Silva with Real Madrid midfielder Isco, who has been linked with Chelsea.

This is according to Spanish media outlet El Desmarque.

However, the report claims Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has contacted the Spain international with a view to a summer move.

David Silva turned 34 today and Guardiola is already searching for his replacement and views Isco as the perfect player to replace Silva.

Isco has been in and out of the starting XI under Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane but he has come back into favour in recent weeks.
