According to Daily Mail, the Blues are in negotiation with Italian club Sassuolo over the re-signing of former Chelsea player Jeremie Boga.
Boga left Chelsea for Sassuolo for just £2.5m in 2018 and has impressed in the Serie A. He has scored seven goals and created four assists in 23 matches this season.
The Blues can reportedly buy back Boga for just £12.8million after inserting a buy-back in the deal that took him to Sassuolo in 2018.
Sassuolo officials reportedly travelled to London this week to speak to Chelsea, in the hope that they will remove the buy-back option.
However, the Blues are said to be keen to activate the buy-back option to bring Boga back to London and then sell him on for a profit.
