GOOD NEWS: Chelsea’s £64m-rated brilliant attacker nears return to first-team training

According to The Athletic reports Christian Pulisic is nearing a return to the first-team training after being sidelined for almost two months.

The American is continuing his recovery from a thigh injury he picked up during a training session on January 4.

He was expected to be back after the mid-season winter break, but this prognosis proved to be too optimistic.

Sources close to the player told the media outlet that Pulisic is ‘itching to get back onto the pitch’.

He’s also regarded as a key player for the club’s long-term plans, and there’s hope he’ll play an important role in the remaining part of the season.

Prior to that injury, the United States international had established himself as a regular presence in Lampard’s starting eleven, registering 6 goals and 6 assists in 23 appearances.
