Report reveals why Chelsea should forget about £150m man after latest decision
Chelsea’s move for Erling Haaland is yet produce any tangible outcome. Borussia Dortmund aren’t too keen on giving in to Chelsea’s demands, and reports claim that they would only sell if Chelsea makes an extraordinary bid.
Haaland will be available for a cheaper price next summer, with his release clause believed to be around £66m. But then, the competition for his signature will be very intense.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has given an update on the situation regarding Haaland.
According to Romano, Chelsea are yet to submit a bid for Haaland due to the money being called out, and he has admitted that Manchester United will be in the race next year as he highlighted Haaland’s ‘strong’ relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
“Next summer will be an open situation with many clubs,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
“I receive many questions about Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and many other clubs.
“I think that all these clubs will be in the race next summer. So we can mention, of course, Manchester United, the strong relationship with Ole (Gunnar Solskjaer).”
