Report: Tammy Abraham set to leave as Chelsea ready to sign €110m world-class striker
Chelsea are set to sell academy graduate Tammy Abraham following the striker’s latest decision on his future at the club.
According to The Athletic, Abraham could be on his way out of the club with the 23-year-old not open to the idea of negotiating a new deal.
Abraham is reportedly not interested in extending his deal beyond 2023 due to Chelsea’s interest in signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Abraham made his breakthrough at the club under former boss Frank Lampard but he doesn’t see himself as an important player under new boss Thomas Tuchel.
The 23 year old believes Tuchel doesn’t trust him judging by the fact he’s given him just five appearances in eight games in charge, and substituted him at half-time in half of his four starts.
Abraham is ambitious and wants to lead the line for a club and England on a regular basis and he doesn’t see that happening at Chelsea under Tuchel.
