REPORT: Tuchel ask Roman Abramovich to sign €70m-rated Brazilian player this summer
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has asked Roman Abramovich to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Marquinhos. This is According to Metro UK. Its market value is €70m as the BLUES are looking forward to secure his signing.
However, Tuchel worked with the Brazilian defender during his time as PSG boss and wants to bring the 26 year old to Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea will face a tough task of reuniting Tuchel with Marquinhos as the 26-year-old will still have three years remaining on his contract with PSG this summer.
Meanwhile, Tuchel revealed last week that he will give his opinion about transfer targets to the Chelsea board but insists he won’t get angry if the club fail to sign the player he suggested.
“I have opinions about what we can add to the group to get better,” said Tuchel.
“This is my job and I will give my opinion and I am asked my opinion and we will do this and sometimes opinions change.
“This is also a process and I have my ideas of course. I have ideas of certain profiles. This is not about me wishing for this player A and B and if they don’t come I will get angry. This was never like this in my whole career. This will not be like this.
“I totally understand there are issues to solve with the agents, the player, the interests of a club. It is not only about me and my wishes.
“I talk with the club and give my opinion and we share this with the scouting and of course I’m involved and I should be involved and I have absolutely the feeling that I am involved.
“The players that we have are fantastic players with big personalities. Right now is even the moment where we get to know each other better and better and we have big games coming and coming and crucial times ahead of us.
“We will have a very clear picture of our group at least and the stronger they perform the harder it is to improve the squad from outside. But there is always room and there are always ideas and we will find out.
“I have the strong feeling we are not in a rush and we are not in a big need and very relaxed. Right now everybody is fully focused and it is not the moment to get distracted with any other subjects.”
