Last Sunday Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested at 4am due to alleged charges of rape, the Metropolitan Police had confirmed.
The academy product met an unnamed woman online before sending a vehicle to pick her up, thus breaking the lockdown restrictions. Things turned sour after the woman rang the police and an ambulance, with the police appearing at Hudson-Odoi’s apartment.
The 19-year-old Chelsea star was accused of rape and has since been released on bail but is due to return to a police station in June.
A Premier League star has now been accused of taking part in a gang rape at a lockdown party, and this comes days after the incident with Hudson-Odoi. The woman involved in the new complaint claims her drinks were spiked with drugs and she was then raped by some men.
According to the Daily Star, the said lady was interviewed by detectives and has been examined by forensic medical staff as well as by doctors. Detectives have launched an investigation into the alleged incident.
A friend of the woman said her pal had no recollection of the night’s events.The friend said: “She could barely stand the night before, there is no way she was in any state to consent to s*x. ”She was said to have been offered drinks at the party, but remembers having no more than two. When she awoke in the flat the next morning she was naked, with scratches on her legs. She claims the player was also naked in bed next to her.
She says that when she asked him what had happened he said they had had sex, and then left the room. The woman claims the following day she received an anonymous call from someone who told her the player and his friends had spiked her drink. She went to a police station and made the rape allegation. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson had said last week: “Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 03:53hrs on Sunday, 17 May to a report of an unwell woman.
“When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital. “A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June.”
