Frank Lampard and his players have received a massive boost in the race for a top four finish as Southampton held Manchester United to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
However, Southampton took an early lead through Stuart Armstrong before Manchester United turned the game on its head by half-time, with goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
Southampton striker Michael Obafemi then scored a 96th-minute equaliser, which ensured Chelsea held onto third-place.
After the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Monday night, Obafemi took to Instagram to post a photograph of his celebrations.
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham sent a message to Southampton striker Obafemi, as well as liking his Instagram post. Abraham commented: “That’s my boy.”
