REVEALED: What Zouma told Chelsea top transfer target after 2-1 victory over Rennes
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma helped the Blues beat Rennes 2-1 on Tuesday with a solid performance at the back.
Chelsea have been previously linked with Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who is also wanted by Real Madrid.
Camavinga struggled to exert his influence on the game and Zouma took time to speak to the Rennes midfielder after Chelsea’s 2-1 win.
“Sometimes you have to swing when you’re behind,” Zouma told Camavinga at the end of the game, as reported to RMC Sport.
“We do it sometimes. “When there is pressure, you lose the ball and a goal.”
Meanwhile, Zouma is reportedly set to get a contract extension with Chelsea.
This is according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who claims Zouma is set for a new contract with Chelsea, as he’s seen as a long-term presence in the Chelsea defence.
