Popular pundit Robbie Savage has given the most bizarre predictions for next season’s Premier League top four, as he has backed Liverpool to win the league yet again.
Savage has been impressed with Jurgen Klopp’s side over the past two years, and thinks they are good enough to win it for the second time in a row.
He’s also impressed with the quality in Manchester United’s midfield and has backed United to finish second, while he believes Chelsea will end up third after a significant amount spent in the summer transfer window.
Bizarrely, Savage has predicted that Manchester City will end up as fourth in the Premier League, due to their poor defence.
He told The Mirror: “Owner Roman Abramovich means business – he’s given manager Frank Lampard £230 million to spend this summer and Chelsea have brought in serious quality.
“Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr will build on Lampard’s excellent first season in charge – but he needs a world-class goalkeeper.”
