Despite the signing of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, Chelsea are still being linked with a number of transfer moves ahead of next season.

Kai Havertz is reportedly a few weeks away from being sealed, while Chelsea have also been linked with a move for a goalkeeper, a centre-back and a left-back. The Blues have as well been linked with a move for a centre midfielder in the mould of Declan Rice.

Chelsea have already seen two players depart the club, as Pedro and Willian left following the expiration of their contract. There’s expected to be a mass exodus of players leaving the club, with Emerson Palmieri, Michy Batshuayi, Tiemoue Bakayoko and the lot, expected to leave.

Jorginho is another top name that could leave the club. The Italy international was linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus, but following the sacking of Maurizio Sarri, that deal seems off the plate.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard doesn’t seem too keen on Jorginho any longer, and he benched the 29-year-old in the latter stage of the season, until injury to Billy Gilmour and N’Golo Kante ensured his return to the team.

According to Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Roma are now interested in signing Jorginho.

Following Juve pulling out of the deal, Roma has now taken the opportunity to initiate interest in the former Napoli man and could make a bid soon.
