Roman Abramovich reveals his only regrets about buying Chelsea

Roman Abramovich bought Chelsea in the summer of 2003 for £140million and has transformed the Blues into one of the biggest clubs in the world.

However, Abramovich has revealed his only regret about his Chelsea project is the extra attention he gets as Chelsea owner.

“In hindsight, especially with the public profile it would bring me, maybe I would have thought differently about owning a club,” Abramovich told Forbes.

“At the time, I just saw this incredible game and that I wanted to be a part of that in one way or another.”
