Rudiger finally reacted to £400,000 per week offer ahead of possible Stamford Bridge exit

According to latest reports, Chelsea defender and Germany defender Antonio Rudiger does not have wage demands which total £400,000 per week.

As Chelsea continue their effort to make Rudiger consider staying put at Stamford Bridge, they have disagreed on fresh terms with the 28-year-old German defender, whose current contract expires at the end of this campaign.

A recent report claims that Rudiger wants a pay package that would put him on the same level as other key players at Stamford Bridge.

However, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk, Rudiger has not asked for wages which would equal £19.2m per year.

Falk, in his statement, claimed that the Blues have offered in the region of £8.5m per year, far below Rudiger’s minimum expectation of £12m.

At of now, Spanish club Real Madrid and French club Paris Saint Germain are said to be favourites for the player.

However, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has hinted that he remains ‘patient’ as talks continue behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge.

We may have to wait till January to know if Rudiger will remain at Stamford Bridge next season or not.
