Sarri tells this player to leave NOW

Not minding what the outcome of the appeal on the transfer ban would be, manager Maurizio Sarri has told Danny Drinkwater that he is free to leave the club as soon as the season ends.

The former Leicester City midfielder has not been favoured in the Maurizio Sarri team since the start of the season, with suggestions that he would leave the club in the last January winter transfer window but that did not happen.

Danny Drinkwater was a major part of the Leicester City team that won the English Premier League in 2016 and that was what impressed the Blues team to have brought in alongside French powerhouse N’Golo Kante.

While N’Golo Kante immediately went into the Chelsea team and established himself, Danny Drinkwater has yet to impress and now, it could mean the end for him at the Stamford Bridge.

The Italian boss stated that Danny Drinkwater is not suitable for his team and has no business staying at the club while he revealed that he had told the player since August his stand.

There is no doubt that the former Premier League champions will now find his way out of the club with a number of league sides ready to give him the chance.
