Sergio Ramos talks on Eden Hazard’s potential move to Real Madrid

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is certain to be welcoming Eden Hazard his club, provided he remains there himself, of course.

The 33-year-old Spaniard gathered a press conference at the club’s Valdebebas training complex to clarify his plans for the future but was forced to speak over the Chelsea star who is close to joining Los Blancos.
Ramos praised Hazard heavily but hurried to say that he was not someone to determine the club’s transfer policy.

“I consider Eden Hazard to be a really, really top player,” Ramos told reporters.

“I do not give advice to anyone, nor does it depend on me whether or not Hazard is signed, for example.
“This is an area outside of my domain. I’m the captain, and there are other departments to oversee the likes of recruitment at the club.”

Hazard himself has effectively confirmed that he wants to move to the Spanish club, speaking right after the Europa League triumph.
“We will decide in a few days,” he told BT Sport after the game.

“I told the club my decision. I told both clubs so I am now waiting, like the fans, to find out. I think it’s a goodbye but, in football, you never know. Maybe it’s time for a new challenge.”

Earlier, Spanish newspaper AS reported that Real Madrid will allegedly officially unveil Eden Hazard as their new player on Monday, June 3rd.
