Things are really going on at Stamford Bridge as some players are set to leave club wether on loan or permanent deal
However, it has been announced that Chelsea midfielder Ross Brakley as join Aston Villa on a long-term loan.
The Midlands club announced the deal on their Twitter page just now, sparking a huge reaction from their following as they applaud the strengthening of their midfield.
Chelsea have a lot of options in that part of the pitch already, so losing Barkley’s wages is nice, even if he does actually put in some good performances.
There is also the chance that this precipitates a move for another midfielder on our part, hopefully one a little more defensively inclined that Barkley, to complete a really nice looking squad we’ve got developing at Stamford Bridge.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s position now seems more secure, but there’s still a good chance he goes too.
Morning, Villans. 😉
Welcome to Aston Villa, @RBarkley8! 🙌
