Shock Sterling message sent, as Chelsea players told board to complete £50m deal
Trevor Sinclair has advised Raheem Sterling not to leave Manchester City for Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
One of the top players in the English game, Sterling has won several awards throughout his time with Man City. He has scored 131 goals for the Premier League Champions.
Sterling is one of the players that Pep Guardiola is willing to let go this summer as he wants to change things up for the upcoming season.
Because of this, there has been ongoing media speculation that Chelsea may try to sign Sterling as they look to strengthen an offense that failed last season.
But now – Sterling has been told to not make a move to Chelsea as they will not be as competitive as Man City and Liverpool next season – He told talkSPORT when asked if Sterling should swap Man City for the Blues: “I would say no because I don’t think Chelsea will be competitive with Man City and Liverpool next season.
“They’ve lost players, the club is in a transitional phase where they’ve lost a lot of players and they’ve got to do a lot of rebuilding.”
Chelsea players told board to complete £50m deal
Richarlison, a standout for Everton, is reportedly being pushed for by Chelsea players to be signed by the organization.
Richarlison, a full Brazil international, is one of the Premier League’s most highly regarded attackers, despite having a difficult season scoring goals this year.
When the transfer market opens, there has been much conjecture in the media about his future at Everton and whether or not he will leave the team. Chelsea has been connected with a bid.
Richarlison has apparently been a target for the Blues for some time, but they have not been willing to pay the enormous £80 million asking price that has been put on him.
However – that has not stopped the speculation the Chelsea will try again in the coming transfer window – and now it seems that they have been given the green light by the player to get a deal done after he told Everton he wants to leave
And the Sun have reported that the fiery Brazilian Richarlison’s characteristic aggression and tenacity are seen as decisive factors in the minds of some players – who have urged the board to complete a transfer deal
