Silva announces attacker ‘will be brilliant signing’ – Chelsea get £200M chance

Dybala claim made –

Thiago Silva has remained coy on Chelsea potentially bringing Roma star Paulo Dybala to Stamford Bridge.

Over the past few days there has been alot of transfer speculation regarding the future of Paolo Dybala – with many reports claiming that Mauricio Pochettino has asked the board to sign the Argentinean International.

Although Dybala’s season was hampered by injury, he still scored 12 times and laid on six assists in 26 Serie A appearances as well as netting five times en route to the Europa League final.

Dybala was spotted at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which led to alot of rumours that he was on London to possibly complete that move to Stamford bridge, and CHELSEA centre-back was also one of a number of high-profile stars to watch

And the Brazilian was asked by Sky Sport Italia to give his thoughts on a possible transfer for the versatile Argentina star.

Thiago Silva said: “I’ve asked Paulo Dybala if it’s true that he’s coming to Chelsea, but he didn’t answer!

“He’s a top player, he’d be a massive signing for us — I’d like it.”

Chelsea target Kylian Mbappe has been told to leave Paris Saint-Germain by former Director Leaonardo.

Mbappe has announced he will not be extending his stay at Paris Saint-Germain beyond next summer, Despite the insistence of his happiness in Paris, the confirmation of his non-renewal has prompted widespread reports of his exit.

Real Madrid, CHELSEA and Liverpool were the front runners to sign the French World Cup winner before he renewed at PSG, and have retained an interest.

Now to avoid a situation where the 24-year-old leaves for free next summer, Al-Khelaifi has revealed that the Frenchman will not be leaving on a free transfer.

PSG face the dilemma of allowing Mbappe to run down the final year of his contract and being unable to recoup any of the €180m they spent to sign him from AS Monaco in 2017.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

“For the good of PSG, I think the time has come for Mbappe to go, no matter what,” Leonardo said in an interview with L’Equipe.

“Paris-Saint-Germain existed before Kylian Mbappe and it will exist after him. He’s been in Paris for six years and, over those six seasons, five different clubs have won the Champions League (Real Madrid in 2018 and 2022, Liverpool in 2019, Bayern Munich in 2020, Chelsea in 2021 and Manchester City in 2023), none of which had Mbappe in their ranks. That means it’s entirely possible to win this competition without him.”

COULD CHELSEA REALLY SIGN MBAPPE?

Look, money talks.

Right now there are only a few clubs in Europe that afford Mbappe – Real Madrid are not one, Barcelona are not one, Bayern Munich are not one, Chelsea are one.

Mauricio Pochettino = is a massive fan on the man and if there is really a chance to get a deal done – CHELSEA  could make that offer.

His wages may be an issue though as he is on close to a £1 million a week – the Blues will not pay that.
