According to latest reports, Chelsea star Mason Mount has admitted there’s concern over the club’s future as a new ownership prepares to take control of Chelsea.
However, A four-bid shortlist has been announced to take over from Roman Abramovich as owner of the Blues following UK sanctions imposed on the Russian amid his country’s invasion of Ukraine.
Due to the sanctions on Abramovich, Chelsea have been hit financially as the club have been hit with several restrictions.
Mount told The Times: “The break probably does help and hopefully by the time we go back some things are sorted out or we have some answers about what’s going on. But we’ll see,”
“I’ve been at the club since I was six years old and something like this has not happened before so it can be a concern.
“At the beginning, and even now, we don’t really know where it’s going and what’s happening the next day. When I’m away with England that stuff is kind of parked.”
