Sir Alex Ferguson makes bold statement on present Chelsea’s midfield ‘Alex box’

Sir Alex Ferguson is a legend of the Premier League, and football in general.

He gave decades of his life to the sport, so his words and opinions often mean something.

The former Manchester United manager was at Old Trafford, and watched on as the Red Devils beat Chelsea 2-1 on Wednesday, and according to a Blues’ fan, the legendary SAF wasn’t exactly impressed by the visitors’ midfield.

The fan claims he sat in the same area as Ferguson, and seized the opportunity to ask him about his thoughts on the game.

The fan shared on social media: “Spent post Chelsea game in Sir Alex’s box.

Diplomatically praised United’s performance and specifically highlighted Amrabat’s contribution.

“Sir Alex’s response: ‘that’s all very well, but he was up against nothing’. Says it all really!”

Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo have surely had better games than what they gave fans on Wednesday. The club bought them for astronomical amounts of money, and fans would naturally expect them to produce well on a consistent basis, but hopefully, they can do better when they face Everton this Sunday.
