‘Still some mistakes in the last third’ – Tuchel reveals why he’s not happy despite 3-0 win over Leicester city
Chelsea trash Leicester city 3-0 on Saturday afternoon, However, despite the victory Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is demanding more, and is never happy, even after a win.
Today was perhaps Thomas Tuchel’s team’s best performance of the season – but at full time he spent as much criticizing what they did wrong as complimenting what they did right.
Tuchel is still somehow not totally satisfied with that: “There’s still things to improve, technical mistakes in the last third.

He pointed to “technical mistakes in the final third,” which seems harsh in a game where we scored three, but we can see where he’s coming from. His team scored three disallowed goals in the second half, and while it wasn’t costly today thanks to the scoreline, on another day we would have been raging.
Coming on the back of a game against Burnley where we ended up drawing because we couldn’t take our chances, it’s an understandable complaint.
But no matter what imperfections he saw, even Tuchel can’t deny – that was a dominant performance that his team can be proud of.
