Striker ‘to replace Lukaku at Chelsea’ this summer, as Tuchel ask board to complete £43m deal

Chelsea loaned player Armando Broja has been backed to one day replace Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea.

The Albanian is currently in the midst of a loan spell with Southampton and has impressed during his debut season in the English top-flight, where he has has seven goals from just 13 starts in all competitions for the Saints this season.

It follows on from the form in which he netted on 11 occasions for Eredivisie outfit Vitesse Arnhem, an impressive record which prompted Southampton to make a move for the player for this season.

The 20-year-old will be keen to continue those sorts of displays throughout the remainder of the season as he eyes a return to Stamford Bridge in the summer, and with Chelsea looking to sort out their striker issues, Thomas Tuchel may give him a chance

Lukaku and Timo Werner have not been the goal-threats that the club were hoping for and there is some speculation that they could leave the club, and Chelsea could move to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund

But His former Vitesse teammate Thomas Bruns has been left impressed by Broja ’s form for Southampton and has backed the young striker to play a pivotal role in the first team in west London, Talking to Dutch outlet Voetbal, he said: “He sees Mason Mount as his example.

“He also did well at Vitesse and is now a key player at Chelsea.

“No shocking numbers, but apart from those ten goals, he has shown what other qualities he has. I think he can make it to the first team at Chelsea within four years.

“That will also be his goal. They will need a new striker anyway if Lukaku wants to move on in the long run. I think he could do that.”

Tuchel requests Chelsea complete £43 million on Real Madrid star

According to latest reports, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has ‘requested’ Chelsea sign Brazil international Eder Militao from Real Madrid this summer.

Fans were expecting some big things in the January transfer window as it was clear that Thomas Tuchel wanted to add some more quality to his squad. But despite all the rumours and all the speculation, The German didnt really get anyone in.

However, it is no secret that Tuchel will be in the market for a new defender in the transfer window and after seeing the club fail to get anybody in over January, he has already reportedly started requesting signings, and is keen on a move for Militao

Chelsea were also linked with a move for Militao three years ago but lost out to Madrid who met his buy-out clause at Porto.

After two underwhelming seasons at the Bernabeu, Militao has become an increasingly important member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, making 31 appearances in all competitions this term.

Spanish outlet AS say Tuchel is a huge admirer of Militao and wants Chelsea to bring him to Stamford Bridge in the summer, particularly if contract rebels Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen leave.

Germany international Rudiger is expected to leave Chelsea at the end of the season after failing to agree a new contract with the club, and with a number of big clubs keen on a deal, it will be difficult for Chelsea to keep hold
