According to Daily Express, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is dealing with a growing group of unhappy players at the club.
After seven new signings this summer, Lampard has an abundance of options at his disposal and it also means a number of players are on the fringes of the team.
The report claims Antonio Rudiger, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi are unhappy at the club as they fear they could struggle to get game time this season.
Rudiger has not been included in any of Chelsea’s matchday squads this season while Loftus-Cheek has been snubbed in the past two matches after a below par display on the opening weekend of the season.
Hudson-Odoi has played just 10 minutes of Premier League football this season but played 90 minutes in the 6-0 Carabao Cup thrashing of Barnsley on Wednesday night.
Hudson-Odoi is understood to want more playing time in the Premier League and doesn’t just want to be a cup player.
Meanwhile, Lampard has confirmed some players might leave before the 5 October transfer deadline.
He said: “There might be movement, we know that, but nothing is concrete so don’t read too much into those selections at the minute.
“It will have to be things which are right for the club and individuals and me and in terms of what happens in the next couple of weeks.”
