‘They are out! as Tuchel confirms 5 Chelsea players are out of Plymouth clash
Ahead of Chelsea clash against Plymouth Argyle in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, Chelsea boss reveals some players will miss the match.
However, The winter break has come and gone, with club football set to resume this weekend.
Thomas Tuchel has revealed that up to five Chelsea players will be unavailable for the FA Cup clash against the League One side.
Of course, Ben Chilwell has been ruled out until the end of the season, and Tuchel has also revealed that Reece James and Ruben Loftus-Cheek won’t be fit for this fixture.
Christian Pulisic and Thiago Silva are also absentees for this weekend, following their involvement with their national teams.
Tuchel said at his pre-match media briefing: “We have no Reece James, no Ben Chilwell and no Ruben Loftus-Cheek, they are still injured.”
“Everybody else has been training except Thiago Silva and Christian Pulisic so it was a good training week.”
