“They can beat them to win it” – Gary Neville reveals why Chelsea can beat Man City and Liverpool to win the Premier League title

Chelsea finally picked up all three points against Brentford on Saturday despite a massive game from the Brentford side.

However, this means the Blues have moved to the top of the Premier League table once again.

Tuchel side were the better side for the first 65 to 70 minutes but the Bees decided to throw the kitchen sink at them in the final quarter. But still, somehow Tuchel’s men managed to hold onto that slender 1-0 lead.

However, according to pundit Gary Neville, they have what it takes to lift the Premier League title this time around.

“I think Chelsea can win the title, I know people say Liverpool or City,” Neville told Sky Sports, as quoted.

“But I do think this Chelsea team are resilient, and there isn’t anyone in the league that will like to play against them.

“Brentford have enjoyed playing against them in the last 15-20 minutes but that was a tough game for 60-70 minutes, they had to change things up to even get back into the game.

“That was a Chelsea team missing key players, they’ve got so many players to come back, they’ve got players coming off the bench. I think they are in with a great shout of winning the title, I really do.”

Can Chelsea beat Liverpool and Man City to the title?

Chelsea are definitely on a roll this season but to be honest, it will take something really exceptional to outclass Liverpool and Manchester City.

City and Liverpool are a well-oiled machine but the Blues still have a few niggling issues here and there. Squad depth is a big asset to have but that also means Thomas Tuchel is yet to decide on his best starting line up.

Players like Ben Chilwell and Romelu Lukaku are yet to hit peak form and if they somehow fail, it could be really bad news for Chelsea.

Liverpool and Manchester City might not have a big enough squad but each one of their players has managed to hit their stride. Liverpool were without Fabinho and Thiago on Saturday but Naby Keita along with James Milner came into midfield and did a perfect job.

Manchester City are obviously the team to beat as Guardiola has successfully managed to unlock the code to winning the Premier League.

Finally, Chelsea certainly have what it takes to win the league but they will have to maintain their A-game all throughout the season to get their hands on the title. And we personally don’t think they will be able to achieve this feat.
