This what Chelsea need right now – Donald Trump’s reveals as his friend makes another Chelsea offer
According to reports, A number of parties are now lining up to buy the club after Roman Abramovich announced he was selling it last week. He was of course then sanctioned by the UK Government, speeding up the sale process.
According to The Sun, They have received another now from the friend of former US President Donald Trump,
Woody Johnson, US Ambassador to the UK until last year, offers £2billion to buy the club, claims the report.
He has owned the New York Jets for the last 22-years and has good links now in London. He believes that although his offer wont be as much as the reported bid from Saudi Media, he believes that his experience in London will help his cause.
A source close to The Sun said: “What Chelsea need right now is longevity and stability when it comes to a new owner. Woody and his team think they can provide that.”
Time is running out now as we are just three days from the deadline.
