“Threatening us to leave?, you can go –  Blues fans slams Chelsea player who wants to force himself to leave the club

According to reports, Levi Colwill, a defender for Chelsea, is reportedly trying to leave the team.

Jules Kounde from Sevilla is apparently close to joining Chelsea, and the Blues are also being linked with a deal for PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe. Thomas Tuchel is reportedly looking to add three seasoned center-backs to his squad after also signing Kalidou Koulibaly.

Young Blue Levi Colwill, who is well-liked in the club, is now considering a way out.

The adolescent has made it known that he wants to play first-team football on a regular basis next season and that he would depart if that weren’t the case.

Colwill, who had a successful season playing on loan for Huddersfield, made it clear in May that he would be willing to leave Chelsea if first-team opportunities were not provided.

He said: “For me, playing for Chelsea will always be the main aim right now because it’s my club.

“But if that doesn’t happen, well then I have to find other ways to progress and become the player I want to be.”

A Chelsea fan, Andrew T, has slammed Colwill’s agent for giving him a dreadful advice.

“His agent is giving him dreadful advice,” Andrew T. writes in a comment section for The Athletic.

“Reece James went from starting every week at Wigan to getting eased into his first season of PL football as a rotation option in 2019. Reece is the most complete academy boy to come through in years and he was happy to accept that pathway to the first team.

“Why can’t Colwill? Chelsea play 60 games a season and we need more than 1 LCB.

“We need 6 CBs to get through a 60-game season so why are we hearing threats about leaving if we sign one more CB? [new signing] – Silva – Koulibaly with Chalobah – Ampadu – Colwill as rotation options is a lovely balance between new signings, experienced starters and academy boys.

“Threatening to leave because of competition is a bizarre approach to wanting to prove yourself.

“Colwill is already ahead of Sarr so what is this refusal to be a rotation option about? He hasn’t even been fit enough to get a single minute of football in pre-season so acting like he’s bottom of the depth chart getting forced out by Tuchel is a desperate reach from his agent to justify running away.

“Constantly briefing these negative stories even before we signed Koulibaly whilst acting like we didn’t just lose Azpi, AC and Rudiger lets everyone know they he had no interest in following Chalobah or Gallagher or Reece James.

“If Mason, Kai or Kante aren’t demanding to be guaranteed starters then Colwill should maybe take the hint about what it’s like being a part of a *squad* at Chelsea. Running away from even trying to prove yourself isn’t the way to win fans, teammates or your manager over.”
