Three key Chelsea players miss Chelsea training ahead of Champions League game

Frank Lampard led his squad out for a training session at Cobham as the Blues had their final training session at the Chelsea training ground ahead of the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.

There’s no time to rest for Frank Lampard’s side who beat Tottenham on Saturday afternoon, as the Blues face Bayern on Tuesday night, and training have been going on in earnest ahead of this massive Champions League tie.

The Blues held an open training session, inviting the media to attend, but three Chelsea players were missing out.

N’Golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Christian Pulisic were all missing from the training session at Cobham.

Kante hobbled out of the Manchester United match last Monday with an adductor injury and is expected to be out until March.

Hudson-Odoi suffered a hamstring injury in training during the winter break and has not featured since then.

Pulisic has been sorely missed and is yet to play a minute of action since New Year’s Day with an adductor problem.
