Timo Werner’s message to Klopp after UCL win, as Milan close to sign 3 Chelsea players
Chelsea forward Timo Werner has admitted he made the right decision to join Chelsea instead of Liverpool side Klopp.
However, he was asked if he ever thought he had made the right decision, Werner said: “Yes, I have often asked myself: was it right, was it wrong?” Werner told Bild.
“Now I can say that it was the right step and the best decision,” he added.
In his first season at Chelsea, Werner won the Champions League.
AC Milan planning to sign 3 Chelsea players
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport via CaughtOffside, Italian club AC Milan are plotting moves for three Chelsea players this summer.
The Italian giants want to sign centre-back Fikayo Tomori, winger Hakim Ziyech and striker Olivier Giroud.
Tomori had a successful loan spell at AC Milan after joining the Italian side on loan in January.
Despite Giroud’s contract extension, the striker is reportedly interested in joining AC Milan after falling down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel.
Moroccan international Ziyech only joined Chelsea from Ajax last summer but has been linked with an exit this summer after failing to secure a regular place in the starting XI under Tuchel.
