PSG president message to Tuchel after UCL win revealed, as Blues leads Man Utd in race for £50million player

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi insists he doesn’t regret sacking Thomas Tuchel despite the German tactician leading Chelsea to Champions League glory.

Tuchel was sacked by PSG on Christmas eve and replaced Frank Lampard as Chelsea boss the following month.

Al-Khelaifi told L’Equipe: “Is the problem PSG? Is it harder to win in Paris? I do not know. It’s Paris, there may be more pressure in the big clubs.

“I’m not saying Chelsea are not a great club, they deserved their victory. Perhaps Thomas learned from his experience last year in the final? This is necessarily a plus.

“Well done to them. Regrets? Not at all. We have no regrets, we have to look ahead.”

Blues leads Man Utd in race for £50million player

Chelsea are reportedly leading Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.

This is according to Spanish media outlet ABC Sevilla via TribalFootball.

The report claims Sevilla are demanding £50million to sell the 22 year old French defender who is also wanted by Arsenal.

In fact, both Chelsea and Arsenal are ahead of Manchester United in the race for the 22 year old defender.

Barcelona are also monitoring the situation but will struggle to meet Sevilla’s hefty demands.
