Tuchel asks Marina to sign €60m Italian midfielder for Chelsea, as £40 million midfielder confirms he wants be a Chelsea player this summer
According to transfer news from Express, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is keen on a reunion with Marco Verratti. Tuchel has asked Chelsea transfer supremo Marina Granovskaia to get him the PSG midfielder in the summer.
Thomas Tuchel has seen through a massive transformation at Chelsea over the last four months. During this time, the German has successfully managed to guide Chelsea right back into the top four as well as pushing them to the finals of the Champions League and FA Cup.
Despite the narrow loss to Arsenal, Chelsea still remain on track to finish the season on a high. With two league games to go in the league, Chelsea could well finish third if they win their remaining games and other results favour them.
Nonetheless, the upcoming summer transfer window will be the first one that Tuchel gets to sign the players he needs. The German has pointed out the name of Marco Verratti with whom he has worked previously at PSG. Tuchel has asked Marina Granovskaia to get the midfielder for him.
The pair of Verratti and Tuchel worked well at PSG before Tuchel moved to Chelsea. The Italian midfielder was a vital component of the PSG side under Tuchel and often praised him for his managerial style and vice versa. He has also expressed his desire to play in England one day.
It remains to be seen if PSG are open to letting one of their best midfielders leave the club. Verratti has faced injury issues over the last few seasons but still remains one of the best technical players in the game.

Jorginho has sought to bring the speculation regarding his future at Chelsea to a close
Jorginho has retained a prominent role in the Chelsea team since another managerial change was made back in January, but there has been alot of transfer talk that he could be a player that the club look to sell on in the transfer window.
Jorginho’s latest outing saw him contribute towards a bump being hit in a domestic road, with his reckless back-pass presenting Arsenal with an opportunity to secure a 1-0 derby win, but his creative qualities have been showcased on a regular basis, and he has now come out and told fans that he wants to stay at the club.
Jorginho, who moved to England in 2018, has told reporters of the exit talk he has been generating in west London: “Of course, I do feel settled.
“When I came here, everything was different. But I felt welcome straight away.
“It feels great after three years, and I know everyone here appreciates what I try to do for the club and for the people. So it feels like home now in England.
“It’s definitely not the time to think about contracts with two finals to play!
“How could I want to leave the club? That’s not the point. It’s not the point even talking about it now. I’ve got two more years and like I said, I really feel at home here. So there’s no point actually even talking about it. And we have only just started under Thomas [Tuchel] – we’ve got a lot more to do here.”
