Tuchel ‘dreams’ of signing elite attacker for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly dreaming of sealing the transfer of Borussia Dortmund goal machine Erling Haaland.

The Norway international has been on fire this season and looks like a player with a huge future at the highest level of the game.

The Blues could do with a signing like Haaland up front at the moment after a slow start to life at Stamford Bridge for Timo Werner this season.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea can realistically beat so many other top clubs to Haaland, with the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City also likely to be in for the 20-year-old.

However, reports claim Haaland is a dream signing for Tuchel, so it will be interesting to see if that sways the player.

Haaland won’t be short of options, but it could be tempting for him to join this promising project being put together by Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea ready to go all out for transfer of Barcelona attacker

Chelsea are reportedly ready to do what it takes to seal the transfer of Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati.

The 18-year-old looks one of the most exciting prospects in Europe at the moment and is sure to enjoy a great career at the highest level.

Barcelona have a proud history of bringing up top young players through their academy, but it seems Fati also has serious admirers in the form of Chelsea.

According to Don Balon, the Blues are ready to try a big bid to lure Fati to Stamford Bridge, but it remains to be seen if they can pull it off.

The report states that Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes has made Barcelona aware of Chelsea’s interest, so this sounds like it’ll be one worth keeping an eye on in the weeks and months ahead.

Chelsea could do with making changes in attack next season after a lack of success from the signings they made last summer.

Arguably all three of Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz have been hugely disappointing so far, and Fati could be major upgrade in that area of the pitch.

The west London giants will also no doubt be keen for new manager Thomas Tuchel to put his own stamp on this squad he’s inherited from Frank Lampard.

Tuchel to sell £75,000-a-week Chelsea player this summer following latest decision

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly given the board greenlight to sell one of Chelsea’s defenders this summer.

According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, the Blues are ready to sell Emerson Palmieri this summer, but only if their £17million valuation is met.

Despite his contract expiring in the summer of 2022, the Blues are unwilling to let Emerson leave Stamford Bridge on the cheap.

Inter Milan and Napoli are keen on signing the Italian international this summer after failing to reach an agreement with the Blues for the left-back in January.

Emerson, who has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season, is yet to start a Premier League fixture under Tuchel.

Speaking about Emerson’s situation after last week’s win over Everton, Tuchel said: “I have another guy who I would love to mention in Emerson [Palmieri], who suffers from bad decisions by me.

“He does not play but he is an amazing guy who trains at the highest level and he never lets the team down with his mentality.

“It was a super hard decision today to have him out of the squad, the same with Tammy [Abraham].

“It is like this, we have a strong group. The guys have to keep on fighting. There’s no other way.”
