Tuchel finally reveals what he was told about new Chelsea owner as Roman Abramovich leaves Chelsea
Since Roman Abramovich and Chelsea were sanctioned, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has portrayed himself very well in front of the media.
Todd Boehly’s consortium has won the fight to buy Chelsea, according to reports. Boehly is thought to have agreed to a £4 billion agreement.
“I was told last week that we have a preferred bidder and things are moving forward.” For the club, this is an important week. I was not involved since I was completely focused on the pitch, but I feel sure after hearing what I heard last week. Tuchel said in a press conference when questioned about the takeover process.
“Clearance is always ideal since you can take action and make decisions when the issue is clear.” You’re capable of acting. Otherwise, you’re just a bystander. We are what we are. We want to create the smallest possible problem.
“Of course it exists at all times. We are prepared to have it in a clear and forward-thinking condition; this is what we are aiming for, that we will know what we are dealing with and what the circumstances are in enhancing the team, that we will be able to act rather than react, or worse, do nothing.”
