Tuchel finally reveals why he’s not happy with Ziyech

The absent of Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount makes Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel opted for a front three of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech against Newcastle United.

However, the game against Newcastle United was an opportunity for Ziyech to impress Tuchel and kick-start his Chelsea career after several poor performances.

Unfortunately for Ziyech, that didn’t quite happen as it was yet another unimpressive performance from the former Ajax man and he was replaced with Ross Barkley as the Blues pushed for a win against Newcastle United.

Chelsea boss Tuchel was unhappy with Ziyech’s passing against Newcastle United Of the 14 Chelsea players used by Tuchel at St James’ Park, Ziyech’s pass completion of 76.9% was the lowest.

A poor pass from Ziyech in the first-half got Tuchel angry. The Blues were carefully constructing an attacking move when Ziyech overhit a pass and momentum was lost. Tuchel responded with a loud shout of “come on, Hakim!” and then span to face the dugout and look into the sky in frustration.
