Tuchel has been given the go-ahead to complete Chelsea signing
In their negotiations with Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona will not bend, and they appear to have given him the go-ahead to join Chelsea.
The previous few months have seen a lot of coverage of Dembele in the media as he has been linked with a move to reunite with former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel is a huge fan of the Frenchman and is eager to sign him to a free transfer to the Premier League so that he can add some speed, some creativity, and a few more goals to that front line.
According to reports on GOAL, Xavi was desperate to keep the 25-year-old and has been attempting to persuade Dembele to agree to a new deal at the Camp Nou, but the Spaniard will not improve the offer they have offered to the Frenchman.
Barcelona has been making the same offer since December, and despite interest from other parties, they have no plans to change the terms.
And with only four days left before the end of his contract, the forward must make a decision.
