Tuchel makes 344-goals Robert Lewandowski Chelsea transfer decision
The Poland legend Robert Lewandowski as has confirmed that he’s set to end his 8-year association with Bayern Munich.
However, Lewandowski has been one of the best strikers in the world over the past decade, and has scored a staggering 344 goals in 375 appearances for Bayern.
With just a year left in his contract with Bayern, Lewandowski has set his heart out for a fresh challenge.
Lewandowski confirmed earlier this week: “One thing is certain today, my story with Bayern is over.”
“After everything that has happened in recent months, I cannot imagine further good co-operation. I realise a transfer will be the best solution for both sides.”
Despite being 33, Lewandowski won’t be short of suitors, and Chelsea are among the clubs to have been linked with the Poland international, with Romelu Lukaku also set to leave the club after one year.
Now, Reports however claim that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel would be interested in a deal to sign Lewandowski, as Chelsea needs a top striker who can bang in the goals consistently in order to compete with Liverpool and Manchester City next season.
