Tuchel OFFICIALLY confirms Chelsea to hold transfer talks with La Liga attacker

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has told fans that the club will make a decision on Saul Niguez’s future at the end of the season, and that the midfielder will meet with the club at some time.

Niguez was formerly regarded as one of the best players in Spanish football, and was being pursued by all of the game’s major teams, but after sliding down the pecking order at Real Madrid, he decided to go on loan for the season.

And, after a shaky start to life in the Premier League, it appeared as though Saul was gradually becoming a more essential component of Tuchel’s team at the turn of the year, but he has fallen further down the pecking order in recent months, making just one appearance since March 10.

As a result, numerous media reports have claimed that he will not be offered a permanent position at the club, and many people are wondering what Tuchel will do regarding his future at the club.

Tuchel has expressed his gratitude for the loanee’s professionalism and contribution in training, but has refused to rule out the idea of his staying in west London longer.

When asked about Saul’s future at the club, Tuchel responded: “We will talk about it at the end of the season.”

‘He is going through a terrible time right now, but I appreciate that he continues to contribute.’

‘It’s like this in team sports, where even if it doesn’t make you happy – and I’m sure it doesn’t – you stay positive and keep pushing, and you take care of the quality in training with the group that doesn’t play as often.’

‘It means a lot to me and the locker room atmosphere that he stays competitive within the group.’

When I tell him the starting lineup, I don’t have a lot of positive news for him. But, despite the difficulties, he must remain intellectually and physically involved.

‘We are grateful, and we demand it, but it demonstrates that he is a true athlete.’

‘For the finish of the season, now is not the time, but we must still battle for Champions League qualifying and the best possible result.’ There is a game to be played in the final. When the moment is right, we’ll speak.’
