Tuchel reacted as Cristiano Ronaldo makes ‘shock’ return to Manchester United
Chelsea have had a perfect start to the season, as the Blues have won the opening two games of the campaign without conceding a goal.
Chelsea strengthened the squad this summer, with the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan as the Blues paid a club record fee of £97.5m to sign up the Belgian for the second time.
Manchester United have now decided to sign back their former player, as the club has made a bold move to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reacted to this news and has admitted that United’s signing of the five time Ballon d’Or winner isn’t good news.
“I don’t think it’s good if he plays for any of our rivals!” Tuchel said.
“If he ends up in the Premier League, it’s good for the Premier League and shows how competitive and how difficult this league is.
“At the same time it will make life harder for us. I’m hearing it now for the first time so let’s wait and see what happens.”
