Tuchel reacted to Chelsea playing former Blues boss Conte in Carabao Cup semi-final
It was a massive win for a depleted Chelsea side, and the Blues are now through to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
However, Chelsea overcame a resilient Brentford side in the Carabao Cup quarter-final clash, as Chelsea sealed a 2-0 victory away from home on Wednesday night.
The Blues will now meet Tottenham in the semi-final, and it’s going to be a fiery London derby clash, with a passionate Antonio Conte on the touchline.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel reacted to the draw after the game, as he admitted that the fans will like the game.
Tuchel said after the Brentford clash: “Tottenham is nice for our fans. A London derby, we are looking forward to it and we want to be there.”
“I am absolutely happy about this result, a brilliant result and a brilliant performance given the situation.”
The Carabao Cup semi-finals will be held in the weeks commencing January 3 and January 10, 2022.
The final will be held at Wembley on February 27.
