We are back as the transfer window is on!
Tuchel and Chelsea board will be very busy in this transfer window as the Blues will be looking forward to strengthen thier squad
However, There will certainly be meetings between them, Thomas Tuchel, and the current staff already there to determine the plans for the summer, targets, who might be sold, and the best way to move the club forward now and in the future.
But of course, the focus remains on the summer rebuild, and one of the players seemingly high up the list for Thomas Tuchel is West ham midfielder Declan Rice, who has been mentioned as a Chelsea target for quite some time now.
Transfer inside Dean Jones has been giving the latest on this situation via Give Me Sport this week.
He says that Tuchel really wants Rice this summer and there has yet to be a breakthrough on his contract at West Ham, meaning there could be a chance this summer for Chelsea to sign him.
Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “Missing out on Tchouameni is a slight frustration for Chelsea as, ultimately, the sanctions meant they could not move forward with talks when Real Madrid could do so.
“But West Ham aren’t making any breakthrough with Rice over a new contract and that is going to lead to more rumours as the window opens next week. Tuchel really, really wants him.”
