Tuchel reveals plans for next Chelsea signings after shock 3-0 defeat to Leeds

Tuchel reveals plans for next Chelsea signings after shock 3-0 defeat to Leeds

Chelsea was defeated 3-0 by Leeds United at the Elland Road, a humiliating outcome.

Leeds outran Chelsea, and the home team applied intense pressure to prevent Thomas Tuchel’s team from getting into the game.

In the transfer market, Chelsea is still mentioned in connection with a few transactions as they look to add a new striker and defense.

Thomas Tuchel has vowed that despite the 3-0 loss at Elland Road, he won’t make rash purchases.

Tuchel told reporters after the match at Leeds: “The transfer period is still open and it gets later and later and we need to focus on what we have and what we can do.”

“Everything was going well. I still believe we can win with this team in Leeds. It is more our fault than anybody else’s credit,” Tuchel said.

“There’s no time to be shocked. For 20 minutes, we did it. But then we did stuff that cost us the dominance and chance to create more chances,” Tuchel added.

“But still, we did not invite pressure or create chances. We were not under pressure or in chaos.”
