Tuchel sends ‘massive message’ to Marina Granovskaia after Rudiger is yet to sign Chelsea new contract

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is a key part of Tuchel’s defence in his 3-4-3 system and played a key role as Chelsea won the Champions League last season.

However, The German International Chelsea contract will expire at the end of the season and the German international is yet to reach an agreement with the club over a contract extension.

Meanwhile, according to Daily Express via TribalFootball, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has told Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia to resolve the contract dispute with Rudiger.

Moreover, Rudiger can sign a pre-contract with other teams in January, with his contract expiring in June and Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich have all been strongly linked with the 28-year-old.

Sources close to Rudiger suggest that manager Tuchel wants him to renew and stay at Chelsea for the near future.

Tuchel hopes Chelsea director Granovskaia and Rudiger’s representatives can thrash out a deal in the coming months.
