Tuchel tells Boehly he wants £150m trio to sign for Chelsea
Chelsea are interested in three centre-backs, according to transfer guru Christian Falk: Presnel Kimpembe, Matthijs de Ligt, and Jules Kounde.
With Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen both opting to leave the club, Thomas Tuchel is looking to bolster his defense. There is also rumours that Marcos Alonso could leave the club in the coming months.
Add in the fact that Cesare Azpilicueta no longer wants to be at the club and is only remaining due to a condition in his contract requiring him to stay for another year.
And now fans have been told that the likes of Kimpembe – Kounde and De Ligt are the three players that Tuchel would like to bring to the club – Commenting on the Blues’ targets, Falk tweeted: “Chelsea have on their list for new defenders.
“Presnel Kimpembe, Matthijs de Ligt and Jules Kounde.”
De ligt has hit the headlines over the past few days that he could leave Juventus in the summer – as he has not been offered the kind of deal that he desires – while it is widely expected that kounde will sign with Chelsea in the coming weeks
Kimpembe is very happy at PSG and has no desire to leave – so it will be very hard for Tuchel to bring him to Stamford Bridge this transfer window.
However, Chelsea need to sign a couple of world class defenders and these three would be amazing signings for the club – so it will be interesting to see if Tuchel actually gets any of the players
They would all improve this Chelsea defence and all would be quality – so lets see
