UPDATE: Lampard confirmed Chelsea player has fully recovered from injury ahead of Sheffield clash
According to reports, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has fully recovered from a shoulder injury ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game against Sheffield United.
The Spaniard trained alongside Edouard Mendy and Willy Caballero on Friday and his shoulder appeared to be fine as he dived to make a full-stretch save.
“Yeah Kepa has recovered, he’s still getting a slight bit of pain but he’s in the squad for tomorrow,” Lampard said.
However, Kepa is unlikely to start ahead of Mendy for Saturday’s Premier League game against Sheffield United.
