UPDATE: Lampard confirms Chelsea goalkeeper will miss Manchester United clash
Ahead of Manchester United clash, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has given the team’s injury update.
As far as the outfield players are concerned, Lampard has an injury free squad, with all his players fit for selection apart from youngster Billy Gilmour.
However, Lampard has revealed that Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga won’t be available for the game due to injury.
Lampard told the media in his press briefing: “We have a clean bill of health, apart from Kepa, who has a shoulder injury. Petr Cech won’t be coming to Manchester as part of the squad, though.
“I am seeing some signs of that [the team coming together], but people came in with injuries. I am seeing signs but I am not jumping ahead. I knew it would take some time. I expect us to get better. It’s not perfect to have new players with no pre-season.”
